From the author of THE PARENT AGENCY comes a thrilling, funny and touching new adventure.
Fred and Ellie are twins. But not identical (because that's impossible for a boy and a girl). They do like all the same things, though. Especially video games. Which they are very good at. They aren't that good, however, at much else - like, for example, football, or dealing with the school bullies.
Then, they meet the Mystery Man, who sends them a video game controller, which doesn't look like any other controller they've ever seen. And it doesn't control any of their usual games. When the twins find out what it does control, though, it seems like the answer to all their problems. And the key to all their wildest dreams. At least it seems like that...

I loved this book which about a couple of children who discover a games control and find when they think about computer games the person wearing the bracelet is able to be controlled by the one holding the controller. I liked it because I like football which is what the book is largely about and I also like computers. I loved the amazing things the children could do with the controller. I think this book would appeal to boys and girls especially those who love football, computers or both! Its quite a thick book so I think children age 8 to 11 would probably enjoy it the most. My brother age 8 has also read this book and he loved it too

This book is amazing. When i first looked at the front cover and the title i knew it was going to be amazing (and guess what it was!)

Before I read the Person Controller I had read some other books by David Baddiel called Animalcom and the other one was The Parent Agency. The Person Controller is an action packed cool fun story with some twins called Fred and Ellie who are quite alike just boy and girl...
In the story they have a dad who loves beacon sandwiches and Fred and Ellie really love gaming. But one day their fat dad sat on their only xbox controller....  DUN DUN DUNNNNNNN

Was excited to read this after loving The Parent Agency and it did not disappoint. Loved it from beginning to end and think it was even better than his first book. Any kids that love computer games instead of books read this and you will be hooked.

Fred and Ellie are twins, and they are into the same things, most of all video games and they are very good at playing them. They aren't really good at anything else. They meet the Mystery Man, who sends them a video game controller, like they have never seen before. When the twins find out what it does control, it seems like the answer to all their problems.  Its funny, fast paced with lots of action. An interesting read and I loved the illustrations. There are lots of short chapters, and it will appeal to both boys and girls, and you can relate to the twins. It was exciting, and I didn't want to put it down

This book was very exciting as the character controls the person who wears the magic bracelet. I would recommend to boys or girls for kids over seven.

A fun story for children aged 8+ about a magical controller that can control people. It falls into the hands of a set of twins and they have fun using it to their advantage. But when is it too much? Baddiel's writing is funny, engaging and my son found the book an excellent read.

Fred and Ellie have their own little adventure involving a controller that pairs with people - making them your avatar. A heartwarning story about self belief and the bond between siblings. A great easy read, especially for children into video games. Could not put it down.

It was very funny. I liked the idea of controlling people! I really liked Ellie because she was smart. But I don't think I could imagine these characters as real people and I didn't like that. I would reccomend this to my friends because they would like the book and the idea of the characters. Because they are the sort of characters my friends would like to read about and meet in real life.
