These books are fantastic for helping to explain certain meanings. The illustrations are simple and boldly coloured drawing the attention of both of my little ones - and the story itself was amusing to my toddler.
A great sized book for little people to hold too!

This book is the 27th in the Little Miss series. It introduces Little Miss Curious, who wants to know the how; where; what; when and why of everything. She asks everyone (and everything) she meets a question and causes chaos in the library for holding up the queue for asking the librarian so many things.

It's a nice-enough story but doesn't really have much of a plot-line and feels something like a non-starter. I feel like the potential of Little Miss Curious was missed; she could have had quite an adventure thanks to her curiosity.

The book itself is small so it's great for little ones to handle themselves and be able to "read" independently.

The illustrations are fantastic: simple but bright and eye-catching. They keep my children engaged while we're sharing the book as well as demonstrating meaning to the words we're reading. They enjoy the pictures more than they story really: this isn't one that we visit often.
