Pip and Posy: The Scary Monster 9780857634542

A lovely book that my older daughter loved and now a chance for her to share with her baby sister. Brilliant illustrations shows posy being scared and frightened by the monster who turned out to be pip playing a joke. Posy then dressed up and enjoyed playing outside with pip.

Both girls enjoyed the book and it reminded my oldest daughter that playing many upset or scare her sister and she didn't want that .

We are big fans of Pip and Posy and this book is perfect for this season, with its beautiful illustrations inclusive of the Autumn colours and cute pumpkins.
It's raining and Posy is a little bored so she decides to bake but then she hears something at the window and she sees a very big hand that is all furry! Oh no, who could it be?
Thankfully a certain someone was playing dress up and all ends well with Pip and Posy having a lovely picnic complete with freshly baked cakes.
My eldest daughter would recommend this book and this version is a baby friendly board book too, hooray.

Pip and Posey are firm favourites in our house. This book did not dissapoint, despite the monster being a bit scary. The children loved it when they realised that it wasn't really a monster. Fantastic
