"Once there was a house, a house that was a home..."
When four best friends decide they want to try living somewhere new,
their differences drive them to go their separate ways, and they
each take a piece of the house with them. But soon they learn
just what makes a house a home.

With a clever and reassuring resolution, this warm, witty tale about
breaking up and making up will charm children and adults alike.

This book is about a house that was a home. There was a reindeer called One, a bear called Two, a rabbit called Three and a badger called Four. They are all friends until one day they decide to go on an adventure and split up from each other. They all wanted to live in a new house but they argued about what type of house so they all went off on their own. They all wanted to take the house with them so they took different parts. One took the door, Two took the walls, Three took the windows and Four took the floor. No-one took the roof. They all go on different adventures and then they were a bit sad and lonely so they came back to each other and said sorry. Then they made a new house together. I thought the book was good.

This is a nice book, with lots of bright illustrations. It’s about 4 friends who live together, but want to try something new. But they each take a piece of the house with them. Soon they start to realise that they miss there home and there friends, so come up with a really fun idea. My little boy enjoyed this book.

My daughter chose this book from the library. 4 friends lived together until 1 of them said they should move out to somewhere different. They couldn't all decide where to go together, so they all went their own separate ways, and each took a part of the house. All the friends realised their house wasnt a home without all of it, and they missed each other. My daughter enjoyed the pictures which are bright and colorful. A nice story about what makes a house a home, and about friends
