This lovely book is the 3rd in the Little Miss series; though they don't have to be read in order. Little Miss Neat likes everything tidy and clean and in their proper place. Her house is left in a perfect state but while she's away Mr Muddle comes for tea, not realising she's away. He has tea by himself then leaves again. Poor Little Miss Neat has an awful time upon her return trying to locate everything and realises who must have visited.

This is a sweet story that demonstrates different personalities and how they can still be friends; a fairly calm story that's perfect for a bedtime read. My toddlers don't find it very exciting to be honest but they really enjoy all the bold illustrations. I think they'll "get" the humour more as they get older. The pictures complement the text well; they help give meaning to the words my toddlers are hearing.

It's fairly short - maybe a five minute read.

The size of the book is ideal for young children: it's only small so it makes it easy for them to handle and "read" the book themselves.
