I read it to Little One aged 3 aged 3

After Paddington visits an art exhibition with his trusted friend Mr Gruber he is inspired to paint. He is so enthusiastic about his paintings and attempts to sell them but sadly no one makes a purchase. This is until a dear friend finds them to be delightful (unknowingly to Paddington) and buys them all!
My daughter is a fan of Paddington bear after receiving a pack of books from her Aunt. The thoughts Paddington occasionally has gives adults a good giggle and perhaps lost a little on my 3 year old but nonetheless she is fan of the bear.

My daughter loved reading this book to me. She even recombined a painting as being a Picasso. These books provide great discussion. We discussed art, the fact that no one bought the 3 paintings Paddington drew initially. She loved the ending!
