He's a terrible boaster and thinks he's really smart with his secret plans and clever tricks. 4 stars
I had read this book in Year 2. The Enormous Crocodile is a wicked, nasty, unpleasant and abominable creature who aspires to gobble up little, innocent children. The selfish, vile disgusting beast is defeated by a group of animals and children. Roald Dahl also uses short, imaginative rhymes throughout the book. He has included lots of interesting and brilliant characters like the Muggle Wump monkey and the Roly-Poly bird which make the book enjoyable. I liked the book because in the book, eventually in the story, good triumphs over evil. The story also gives an example of what teamwork can achieve.
The illustrations by Quentin Blake are delightful.
