What a great book! My son loved the fact we could make up all different stories with it being a picture book! He loved all the pictures and it is beautifully illustrated! He keeps asking to read it again so think we're onto a winner!

What a lovely book. It's a fantastic concept that there is no words and that the reader can make up what happens every single time!
I did read it to my son making up a story as I went & he loved it! He loved the pictures and kept asking for it again!!
Lovely book

This is such a sweet story with the most lovely illustrations. I shared it with a group of 4year old children in my class and they loved being in control of the story making up their own narrative for the pictures. We enjoyed spotting lots of different things going on in the pictures too! It was brilliant in getting the children talking and thinking about what friendship means and ways that they can care for others. We wondered what a world without bees would be like and we agreed it wouldn't be good so we planted some seeds in our garden area - hopefully we will have some buzzy visitors soon :)

This book is perfect for pre-school and reception children. Although it contains no words the illustrations tell the story itself and allows the reader to use their imagination and it prompts discussions not only about the importance of bees but friendship and looking after our environment too. I won this book in a Facebook competition and the timing of its arrival is perfect, it fits with the Early years curriculum. My child is learning about the lifecycle at school and we have been just released our butterflies into the garden, having watched them grown and change. We made them nectar from sugar and water and watched them eat, just as the little girl does in the story. I knew my son would love this book as he also loves the bee movie! This is a beautiful book that every child should have the chance to read. Thank you toppsta. We are now looking forward to planting our sun flowers and watching them grow.

This is a beautiful book.  A lovely story that is easy for children to understand told through pictures alone.  My six year old enjoyed sharing it with his little sister.  He liked the story of friendship but it also helped him better understand about the environment and how he can make a difference.

This is a beautiful book, the illustrations are lovely and we have read and re-read, i say read but this is a picture only book so you make up your own story as you go along,  the book many times since receiving it, i would highly recommend it.

My daughter enjoyed being in control of the story telling to both myself and her little sister. The illustrations are beautiful with lots going on in the scenes to prompt the storytelling. The later part of the book where the bee scatters seeds across the city was a little more difficult for her to understand what was happening, however it did instigate a conversation about what they were doing with the bag of flowers.

This is a book which contains the most beautiful illustrations but one that contains no words, it's up to you to tell the story. A great way and a new take on story telling. My son has really enjoyed me "reading" this one to him and he also likes to help with the storyline.
