We've read this book again and again! Bertie is a child who loves to eat things off the floor, pick his nose and generally do all the things that young children find themselves doing from time to time. The story is hilarious and gives us the chance to talk about why, for example, playing with slugs and worms' isn't really a hygienic thing to do! The twist at the end always has my girls in fits of laughter!

My children think this book is absolutely hilarious, the funniest thing ever! It's a very popular choice before bed time and we always say 'oh no dirty bertie'. It is a great book for boys and girls and is also good at reminding children that some habits are not so nice (nose picking for example - yuck)

My daughter loves this book. Bertie has some disgusting habits and when reading she loves emphasising the no Bertie, it's dirty Bertie parts. The illustrations are great, her favourite is Bertie's bare bottom !!, she thinks this is so funny !
A fantastic book that she'd recommend to everyone.

Dirty Bertie is a firm favourite in our household - we always go back to this book, always brings out the laughter.
Bertie has some disgusting habits and whenever he is doing something he shouldn't be, all his family will shout "No Bertie, That's dirty Bertie".  My children think this is hilarious and all shout out together.
We love the illustrations (The kids think the page where Bertie is weeing on the flowerbeds is so funny!! :-).....)
A super funny little book - Fantastic :-)

I read this book to my 3 boys they all seemed to enjoy it not walk off half way through(like they do sometimes!)the stories were not too long which was good as the kids didn't get bored. My eldest son is still not able to read for himself so I ended up reading this all over a few nights.it was funny silly and reminded my son of him and his brothers!!
