Every Saturday morning the Greg family goes off to shoot animals and birds. But the girl who lives next door hates hunting.
Now it's made her so angry she's PUT THE MAGIC FINGER ON THEM ALL. And very strange things have begun to happen . . .

And now you can listen to THE MAGIC FINGER (with THE MINPINS) and other Roald Dahl audiobooks read by some very famous voices, including Kate Winslet, David Walliams and Steven Fry - plus there are added squelchy soundeffects from Pinewood Studios!

Also look out for new Roald Dahl apps in the App store and Google Play- including the disgusting TWIT OR MISS! and HOUSE OF TWITS inspired by the revolting Twits.

The Magic Finger is a very inspiring book. You won't think it's a good book from its cover but it really is. It drags its readers into the book. It is a great, funny book. It describes things very well and it makes you want to read the book everyday. There are too many things that I could tell you but I will keep some surprises for you. This is why I love this book.

I like this book because itt's fun to read.
My favourite bit is when the gregg family get turned into birds because the father and his kids went out every Saturday morning Into the forest and shoot birds and wild animals. She liked the animals so she saw red and used her magic finger.
When she gets angry she sees red and her magic finger turns people into something relating to what makes her angry.
I read this book and really enjoyed it. I have read it a few times. It's one of my favourite roald dahl books

My son brought this book home from school, he picked it out himself from the library. He is becoming a great Roald Dahl fan having already read "Fantastic Mr Fox", "James and the Giant Peach", "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" and "Matilda" so I guess it appealed to him when he saw the author. This is a shorter book than pretty much all of RD's other books and teaches a valuable lesson to children about treating others how you wish to be treated. My son loved this book and thought it was funny in places too, especially with the ducks living as humans. Another great book RD!

Who doesn't love a book by Roald Dahl? I remember this book with great affection from my childhood and really enjoyed reading it to my daughter. She loved all the bits I enjoyed when my parents read it to me, such as when the Gregg family got turned into birds and had to build a nest. A real trip down memory lane.

This book is highly recommended as it deals with issues of animal rights and conservation in a light and humorous manner. It will appeal to all Roald Dahl fans.

I read this story when I was a child and so remembered how much the short story moved me. It us quite a quirky tale and really makes you consider how you treat others. It's short enough to read in one sitting and is accessible for younger readers.

Another great Roald Dahl book! A family are turned into small people with duck wings and the ducks are turned big but with arms. It's has a great message about treating other how you would like to be treated yourself. It's a funny book and my favourite part is when the family of duck-people try to make their first nest.

Oliver loved this book and spent days pointing his luckily not magic finger at his siblings in hope of turning them into bird people. Great story line, just enough twists and turns to keep the older ones entertained.
