Rafe Khatchadorian is getting the Hollywood treatment in a film version of Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life starring Griffin Gluck, Lauren Graham, Rob Riggle and Thomas Barbusca.

Rafe Khatchadorian, the hero of the bestselling Middle School series, is ready for a fun summer at camp - until he finds out it's a summer school camp! Luckily, Rafe easily makes friends with his troublemaking cabin mates and bunkmate, a boy nicknamed Booger Eater, who puts up with endless teasing from the other kids. Rafe soon realises there's more to a person than a nickname, though, and Booger Eater might be the kind of friend you want on your side when the boys from the Cool Cabin attack.

This fourth book in the massively popular Middle School series is an unforgettable summer of hi-jinks, new friends, and surprises, all told with the hilarity and honesty readers have come to expect from blockbuster author James Patterson.

Rafe heads of on another adventure . or rather , is forced on a camp . one side is for the amazing , the fabulous ,  the swots . one side is for under achievers . we all know which side rafes going to . so he ends up with the musk rats , the under achieving cabin in the under achievement camp . popular ? Not really . talented? You're talking about a different cabin , right ? But rafe learns that true friends come from the unlikeliest of places . just as well , because with snake hill , school work and the bobcats to contend with , Rafe's in for a rocky ride . Will he survive to draw another day ? Or is he really just DEAD MEAT?

I really , really enjoyed this . a fantastic book with great illustrations to match . only a few references to previous novels  , so for a book 4 , it's surprisingly easy to pick up and read !. Nice work from the legendary James Patterson . younger readers ? Maybe not . check out potty mouth and Stoopid for something they will get . still very cool for the 8+ , and even adults will find themselves chuckling at Rafe's antics

This book was read by my 8 year old son, he has really enjoyed reading about Rafe and his adventures at camp.  I asked him what he liked about the book and he says its a fun book and he can relate to the characters in it.   I asked if there was anything he disliked and he told me that there was nothing really just that he didn't always feel that the illustrations matched exactly what he was reading but I guess that could just be how he imagines it as hes reading it.  Even though he has not read previous books from the series it didn't effect the way he could get straight into this story and understand what was happening and has said that he would love to read more books from this series.

This book is part of a series but is ok if you read it without reading the rest of the stories.  This story is about Rafe Khatchadorian who gets sent to summer school called wannmorra. It is hard for him as people who are always mean to him are there too.   Rafe has lots of adventures   Really good book   Recommend for very good readers

This is is my favorite book in the series.  It was very funny and all about Rafe and his adventures in camp wannamarra also known as summer school.  He sacrifices his chance of being beaten up and stops his friend Norman from being called booger eater.  In the end he gets in trouble and has to be sent home but this is a lovely message to stand up to your friends even when it sounds hard.

I am a massive fan of James Patterson, and I've read nearly all of his children books. This one did not let me down; it was a classic Khatchadorian adventure. Rafe is shipped out to summer school, and he has to srvive amongst Bobcats, homicidal maniacs, and a Booger Eater. A brilliant story full of laughs and smiles.

I loved this book and it is just as funny and awesome as the other books in the series. A good thing is that you don’t have to have read the other books in this series to enjoy this book. The illustrations are amazing as always. I found myself laughing at so many parts of this book. I think this book is good for boys and girls age 8 and up.

A great book in the series, full of adventure and fun and naughtiness! My daughter read this, she's 7 and a good/strong reader. She did struggle a tiny bit with some chapters, probably more suitable for an 8+ year old to fully grasp. She has read a lot of the series and rates this as her favourite. Recommended.

This is book 4 of the series but it doesn't matter if you don't read the others. Full of good illustrations and humour you will laugh a lot as read about Rafe  and his friends at summer camp.

The book is written really well and easy to read, I wanted to carry on reading to find out what happened next.

I really enjoyed this book. It's about a kid called Rafe Katachadorian who has THE WORST luck. Then he gets stuck in 'summer camp' that's really just a school in disguise. With bullies against him, terrible food and a hill infested with snakes his chances of getting through summer are very low.
I would recommend this book to everyone. I think this book is hilarious! 9/10

This book is very funny and I like the part when the toilet smells. The illustrations are really good but I took away a star for such short chapters. All in all a good book and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good read.
