When a sack of presents lands - THWACK - right by Norman's stocking he is overcome with excitement. He really must have been a very good slug this year. But after a frenzy of unwrapping he spots a label - and realises that none of the presents were meant for him, but had in fact fallen off Father Christmas's sleigh. Norman knows he has to get the presents to the family they're meant for - but how can he manage it on time? Can one little slug save Christmas?

The children loved this story. We had great discussion about the difference between slugs and snails! There was great suspense in how Nirman would save Christmas. Fab for teachers in Early Years and Key Stage 1 to use this too as many areas were covered with book!

Another page turning, winning book from Sue Hendra. My 3 year old son insisted we read it 3 times in a row when we got it - always a good sign of a marvellous book! Norman the slug stars in a wonderful christmas adventure. My son adored the illustrations, and the storyline is just right for little ones. This would be a great addition to any hone, and could be a fab stocking filler. I'd recommend this for both boys and girls. Worth every penny!

Thank you for choosing us to review this book it's amazing I read this book with my little sister who is 6 and my little brother who is 3. Me and daria took it in turns to read and did different voices :-) The story is really good and Norman is a very clever slug especially getting the snails to help him and we loved it when he hid at the end The pictures in the book are very good and Daniel liked looking at the pictures as me and daria read. I would defiantly recommend this book even though I am 8 I still enjoyed the story, it was very exciting wondering I Norman could deliver the presents in time cos slugs are very slow

Another brilliant book from Sue Hendra and Paul Linnet! Norman the slug is in bed on Christmas Eve, hoping that Father Christmas will visit, when he gets a rather unexpected surprise. The cover was a little confusing initially however it was all made sense of at the end. Leo really enjoyed the story and the characteristic bold illustrations.

This is a really fun book, norman the slug is excited for christmas. So when a sack full of presents lands on the roof he opens them all. But when he sees the labels they are not for him, they fell off Santa's sleigh. So normon re wraps and comes up witg his own way to deliver the presents before christmas. My little boy loves this book.

A very funny and silly story about a slug returning presents that have fallen from Santa's sleigh. A perfect christmassy tale from the same author as Barry the Fish with Fingers. A good story with nice illustrations, it was a big hit.
